River Snow 江雪
Over a thousand mountains the flying birds vanished,
Over ten thousand roads the traces of human activity were extinguished.
In a lonely boat sits an old man wearing a straw raincoat and bamboo rain hat,
He is alone in fishing amidst the cold river's snow.
千山鸟飞绝，
万径人踪灭。
孤舟蓑笠翁，
独钓寒江雪。
